My goal in 2025 is to focus on creating short stories and novellas that are linked one another, to completed novels, or to novels in the pipeline. Why? This could draw readers across spaces and platforms. It is also is a taste-tester of the worlds and characters and stories. Also... I love a good easter egg! (I am still reeling about this one: Firefly/Serenity and Aliens/Prometheus is the same story world? Did we KNOW this?).
My Hell-Colony worlds (on a separate page) have always been linked by the one world. Did you know I write other shared worlds/characters/concepts?
When will these pieces be published? Well. It is a veryyyy slow process. I am only looking to traditionally published at this time.

Story is about:
A swamp-witch is forced to flee attacking Templars the only way she can, by reconnecting with her Reaver heritage.
How it sits in the timeline:

Prequel to a novel I am in the process of writing, (novel working title: Death Witch and the TBA).
This piece was written in Nanowrimo 2024 as I challenged myself to write 15 short stories in one month. The story is complete, but there are questions about this world and magical system that I cannot answer until I have finished the novel that completes Trip's character arc.
Story is about:
Trip is an ex-reaver bone-witch living precariously in drunken poverty in the darkest depths of an underside city. Her power weaves Reaver magic and mage-born powers in an odd way. Will it be enough to save her and her friends as calamity rips their city, 'berg and world asunder?
How it sits in the timeline:
Hundreds of years after Swamp With (working title). Ten years before the incomplete novel: Death Witch and the TBA (working title).

I have been wrestling with this one for some time. There is definitely a story here! Expect it to land at the 100k mark.

I have been wrestling with this one for some time. There is definitely a story here! Expect it to land at the 100k mark.
Story is about:
Charity Takes is a mysterious but drunken joke, living outside the tower of a magical school, selling her chaotic death magic and reaver skills as well as her memories.
Who is she, and where did she come from? What was she running from when she shipwrecked herself, half-dead, into the tower of her benefactor? Charity has no idea. She's sold all her memories for cash to buy drinks. Her enemies circle, Charity's strange power and nature hungers and the horror of something she has done in her forgotten past threatens to engulf her.
How it sits in the timeline:
Ten years after Death-Witch and the Rising Fall. I expect it will have a similiar title. It sets several generations after Swamp Witch, after some dreadful calamity that broke the surface of the world into magically floating pieces.

Low-ranked mercenary Renny is part of a chaotic alliance of forces attempting to defeat a powerful interworld enemy. A career grunt, she finds herself tossed in to the mix with a very powerful and unfriendly necromancer and his team. A terrible accident finds the highly independent mature-aged soldier intimately connected with the necromancer in an unwilling and unplanned way.

Story is about:
This was just another battlefield clean-up for Jody, mopping up the mess filthy dark magic and a leaking Hell has made of a civilian town. The last thing Jody and her team of half-trained ancillary staff expected to find was a dead necromancer and a zombie dragon, a town filled with zombies and a team of very unfriendly elves.
How is sits in the timeline:
This piece sits slightly before the Hells-Gate timeline, just as the worlds are on the verge of allying together to face this awful threat. It references the concept that brings them together in the form of reference to an actual person (who I expect I will eventually write a short story about).
