Standalone, cyber-punk, dystopian sci-fi adventure (100k words)
A 40 year old, mid-level mercenary (who’s secretly a vigilante hacker) battles to remain under the radar of big players in a corrupt dystopian city of violent criminals.
Against his better judgement, Sebastian rescues and attempts to protect the abused hench-person, right-hand person and cyber-security lead of the city’s most powerful mercenary guild.
Fueled by his own demons and hurts, arrogant and privileged Sebastian recklessly strikes the first blow, ripping his powerful enemy open in a devastating cyber-attack. This earns his enemy’s complete attention and ire, just as the overcrowded city explodes into chaos and carnage. Every mercenary and criminal outfit suddenly erupts, splitting and attacking themselves and each other.
Tunnel battles, levels at war, cannons, car-chases and drowning tunnels – nothing and no one is safe in a world that no longer makes any sense. Torn between old and new alliances, what will Sebastian sacrifice to protect himself, and the people he values?

Next month I will give a red-hot, Newsletter followers only, sneak peak into the romance element of this piece. I plan to edit this piece and get it beta read through the rest of 2026, looking to sling it into publisher slush piles from March 2027.
